Obedience Training
We have two types of training: basic or advanced. Basic obedience is on-leash training. This is a great starter for any dog. Advanced obedience is off-leash training. This is ideal for high energy dogs who like to play fetch, go on hikes, or spend a lot of time outside. Board and train programs vary a little on length depending on your dog and their specific needs. During your free evaluation, we will discuss your needs and recommend the correct training length. Basic obedience is a 4 week program. Advanced obedience is a 6 week program.
Basic Obedience Programs
Basic Private Lessons
$1,000
This is a package of 6 private lessons to guide you through obedience training. These lessons are tailored to you and your dog's specific needs. This package includes:
6 private lessons, 1 hour per lesson
Support from your trainer by call/text/email whenever you may need
Take-home packet with training logs and helpful tips
Potty training and crate training
No biting / jumping
Leash training
Basic obedience (sit, down, heel, place, beginner stay, beginner recall)
Intro to longline training (15 feet away)
How to cope with distractions (other dogs, people, toys, etc)
The 6th lesson will take place at a dog friendly store to build handler confidence in a public place
Ability to join free monthly Group Obedience with other clients to further training, guided by a trainer
We can also address any other issues you may be having. Private lessons are tailored to your needs.
Basic Board and Train
$3,000
During the board and train, your dog will live in a trainer's home and be cared for like a family member while learning. This program includes:
4 week board and train
4 private lessons, 1 hour per lesson
Intro to potty training
Crate training
Confidence building exercises
Socialization in parks, dog friendly stores, and other new situations
Basic obedience (sit, down, heel, place, beginner stay, beginner recall)
Loading up into a vehicle
Door manners
No biting / jumping
Intro to longline training (15-25 feet away)
How to focus around other dogs and people
Being calm around distractions (dogs, kids, toys, people, etc)
How to settle down and be calm in the house and in other situations
Weekly field trip to a dog friendly store or park
Go-home packet with training logs and helpful tips
Support from your trainer by call/text/email
Daily picture and video updates from your trainer during the board and train
Ability to join free monthly Group Obedience with other clients to further training, guided by a trainer
Advanced Obedience Programs
Advanced Private Lessons
$2,000
This is a package of 12 private lessons to guide you through advanced obedience training. These lessons are tailored to you and your dog's specific needs. This package includes:
12 private lessons, 1 hour per lesson
Support from your trainer by call/text/email whenever you may need
Take-home packet with training logs and helpful tips
Potty training and crate training
No biting / jumping
Leash training
Basic obedience (sit, down, heel, place)
Advanced obedience (off-leash recall, long distance and long duration stays)
Obedience off-leash
Reliable off-leash recall
Stays with distractions while off leash

Our training is based on communication and consistency. We find ways to motivate your dog through food, play, and social interaction to encourage them to build a relationship with us. Training shouldn't be a chore for your dog. They need to enjoy training and understand what is expected. We pride ourselves on putting the dog first while training. Every dog is different and every dog teaches us something new. Every dog trained by Texas Canine Training LLC becomes a member of our family. We hold free Group Obedience every month in Mt Pleasant, Longview, or Tyler to give our clients a safe space to practice and further their training around each other. We are working hard to form a community of people who have learned how to properly communicate with their dogs to provide support for everyone we come across.
We do offer payment programs and financial assistance if needed! Call or text us at 903-563-9313 to ask about monthly payments and programs. Payments can be as low as $200 per month. Payment plans are offered at the discretion of your trainer.
